Exhaust Fan For Ei30bm55hsb.
I think my ei30bm55hsb was installed wrong. The duct was installed over the microwave (accessible by opening cabinet doors) but the air isn't flowing through it. Instead it's flowing out of the opening above the microwave door. I am wondering if there is a cover missing, which if installed would force the air back through the filters and up the duct. Any help appreciated!

Hello tigergolf79 – From my research the installation guide explains how to set up the exhaust venting. There are 3 options: vent horizontally out the back of the microwave, vent vertically out of the top of the microwave, or recirculate out the front louvers. If air is coming out of the front of the microwave, and not venting out the top (vertically), the vent was not set up properly. I strongly recommend contacting the installer or to refer to the installation manual to correct the venting.
