Procedure for setting and adjusting the freezer temperature

If you have an upright or chest freezer with the electromechanical temperature control, turn the temperature control knob clockwise or counter clockwise to adjust the temperature. If the freezer has the standard electronic temperature control, adjust the temperature setting by moving UP (∧) symbol for colder temperatures and down (∨) symbol for warmer temperatures on the control panel. For either procedure allow several hours for the temperature to stabilize between adjustments.
