How Do I Set The Temperature All I Need The Edge Star 1760 Fd

I have followed the instructions in the manual and cannot seem to set the temperature on the above-described cooler the desired temperature blinks three times then goes back 2 the factory set temperature it will not lock in at the temperature that I desire

How do I set the temperature on my EdgeStar wine cooler?

For EdgeStar model BWC70SS the thermostat adjustment is located on the lower left back side of the unit as noted in the image below. The dial can be adjusted from 0-5 with 5 being the coldest temperature setting.
