My Bedroom Tv Changes Channels By Itself Sometime.

While watching my bedroom tv it is as if some has the remote and is changing channels and using the guide and just generally surfing, I have tried to remove the batteries from the remote while it was doing this but it did not stop.

Hi jsyrinek,

What sounds like is happening is the remote address is being interfered with. This can happen sometimes if a neighbor has DISH as well. Try the following steps to change the remote address for your system:

Go to System Info screen.
Hold down the SAT button until all mode lights light up.
Enter a number between 1 and 15 using the numeric keypad on the remote.
Press the pound (#) button.
Once the SAT button blinks three times, press record.
