Hi there joseqjo, my name is Kimberly and I form part of the Social Media Department with DISH. Your DISH remote (depending on the model of remote that you have) can learn the functions of your Tv remote in order to control your Tv features as well as the receivers, however a TV remote (even if it's a smart Tv) is unable to control our equipment.
