Changing The Processor
hi i have a Dell XPS 8100 and have aquired a Dell T1500 with Faulty power supply faulty sound card and disc drive, can the i7 processor be taken from the T1500 and put into the XPS 8100 which is currently fitted with a i5 processorThanks John

Hi! I cannot be fully certain as you did not give the exact processor model but since it's an i5 to i7 transfer, it should be plug and play. Please exercise caution while changing such as grounding the CPU and yourself to prevent static buildup that might damage the electronics as well as not touching the processor pins.
