Sound Promlem

i have a dell optiplex 745 my sound has a problem the sound device is installed and works properly, my speakers work properly but when i plug my speakers in all i get is static sound some one please help me

I would also recommend you first to toggle the connection and see if the sound is clear if not check the speakers on another system and verify if it works fine or not.
