Hi,
I work for Dell's Social Media Team. You can activate the Fingerprint Reader using Dell ControlPoint Software. You need to make sure you have the driver installed first. You can install the Dell Control Vault Driver and the Dell ControlVault Windows Biometric Framework Driver using the below link. Click on Get Drivers, Refer to the heading Security.
