Bypass Password?

My son changed a password on his Inspiron 5000e and forgot it. How can we bypass it?

If you have Windows XP Instaled you can try starting the computer and press the F8 key until you get some options on the screen, choose SAFE MODE. If you are able to get into safe mode go into the control panel under user accounts and remove or change the password.

If you are not able to get into windows through safe mode you will either have to reinstall windows or search the internet for software that will help you retrieve the password.
