Battery Cuts In Even When Power Is Plugged In. Only Rebooting Stops This.

If i remove the battery then re start the computer then it will run off the mains power. Additionally the base of the computer gets hot.

The bottom of your Dell Inspiron 1370 laptop is hot because the battery may have a problem or started to worn out. Obviously, there is a problem with the battery which requires replacement before the other hardware parts of your computer get affected. YOu can buy a compatible battery from the following links.
