There Is No Display On My Laptop

The system works an I see light but nothing comes up on the screen ??

Hi Kentonattis,

I would request you to run the Pre-boot system assessment to check the Hardware functionality.

While holding down the FN key switch on the computer till you see the test running on the screen:

If you are unable to see the color bars, then it may be an issue with the LCD screen. Would request you to connect an external monitor and check the display on the monitor screen.

If the color bars are displayed, then I can assure you that there is no issue with LCD.

Let the test run and please let me know if you get any error message.

The screen is out and depending on what laptop you have and how old it is depends on the price. If it is an older laptop it isn't worth fixing most times. A technician can get your downloads off for you to save if needed. I had the same problem and the technician told me mine was to old to fix and it would be best just to buy a new laptop. Mine give me a warning a couple times and came back on but finally quiet working all together.
