I Have The Dl-4500 Game Router. How Do I Speed It Up
My router is slowing my internet down. I have a download speed of 50mbps. With the ethernet cable connected directly to my laptop I am seeing the 50. But if I run wireless through the router I get around 5-14mbps. How do I maximize my router speed?

Data transfer through the wireless will always be slower. Even though this router supports 802.11n you will never really see 300 Mbps in real life. Both devices, PC and router need to be running 802.11n, not G,B, or A. A and G will max out at 54 Mbps, and B at 11. The only thing you can do use a hardline or have absolutely optimal conditions on 802.11n.
