Premium Single-serve Coffee Maker Ss-10

I got this item last month, I am wondering if the handle should lift separate from the brewing head, this one does, this one is not attached to the brewing head except in the very back

. The capsule holder is top-shelf dishwasher safe (use low temperature cycles). To remove, lift the handle to open the brewing chamber. Grasp the top of the capsule holder and pull up.

After placing a capsule in the Capsule Holder, make sure the handle is pushed down securely and the LCD control panel reads READY with the UP and DOWN buttons and Brew, Hot Water, and Rinse buttons illuminated. Then press any of the lit buttons
