Purchased Sick Calves

My grandkids n I purchased 3 calves only to find out they where sick and one died. We gave other 2 shots and asked the person who sold us sick calves if he would replace it as my granddaughter was devastated. He said we could pay 200.00 more and we could have a bull calf. Against my better judgment we did. It was less then 50 Ibs and Same thing happened. Had Ecole and scours and died at vet just like the other one. Then both times.we had to get additional shots/meds for the other 2 so they wouldn't get it. He refuses to compensate for them. What can I do????
