Difficulty Raising/lowering Saw Blade

MY model 21829 table saw has become VERY resistant to raising and lowering the blade. I have lubricated the involved parts as described in the manual with silicone spray. I am wondering if there is a shim adjustment for the housing guides that the motor/blade assembly slides on.
