Cq61-wm411, Remove And Replace The Screen
how do you remove and replate the screen. Cracked.

if u look closesly at the laptop there are small rubber feet on the top panel that holds the screen, they will be on the front side
using a screw driver u pop those off carefully
under there are screws
unscrew them
carefully remove the upper frame and u will see how the screen is nested there
with a flat head screw driver u can pry the screen up carefully and there will be ribbon cable attaching the screen near the bottom,, u remove the ribbon cable from the screen side not the motherboard side
(ok one second u need to know which screen ur laptop ships with and order it =) www.screentek.com carries a lot of laptop screens just tell them the make and model )
after u remove the screen from the ribbon the process for installing the new screen is basically the same in reverse
