Dvd Player Issue

Hi, The DVD player of my DVD/TV combo is not playing any DVDs that I put in. They used to play before, but, now they will not play and the monitor says reading, whenever I put a disc in, but after a minute or two, it says no disc, or something of that nature. How can this be fixed? Thank you so much in advance, and you have a great day. - Chris
