How Can I Pick Up Wi-fi On My Netbook?

I know there is a button or two buttons I need to push to turn the feature on so I can connect to a wi-fi source but I can't remember which ones.

click fn and f1 at the same time and keep clicking them  untill ur connection pops up. hope i helped. :)
