Why Can't I Turn The Change Oil Light Off On My Traverse

Turn the ignition to the "ON/RUN" position, but do not start the engine.

Place the gear selector into "Park."

Press the trip odometer reset button until "OIL LIFE REMAINING" displays.

Press and hold the trip odometer reset button until "OIL LIFE REMAINING" shows "100%" and three chimes sound. The "CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON" message disappears.
