Whenever a vehicle hesitates when accelerating it is most likely the fuel pump or caused from bad gas. First change the fuel pump, and when take off the gas line look at the gas as it comes out. If it looks mostly clear it is good gas, but if there is some color to it and it is not as opaque you have bad gas in the tank and need to get it cleaned. Some other things it could be is gummed up valves, and a clogged catalytic converter or muffler.
