Does Ctk 496 Have Sustain?

I tried playing softly on my CTK 496 but the keyboard keeps giving me the same volume if I am playing it hard. The keyboard is suppose to sound low when slowly touched even if the volume is high. What can I do?

Your question is a bit hard to follow. Maybe the following will help (in case you're not fully aware of these points).

1, The instrument doe not come with a sustain pedal. A sustain pedal is optional.

2. The sustain pedal [if installed] does not change the volume but sustains the tone.
