Touchscreen Not Responding

I have a Casio Classpad 300plus calculator and the touchscreen is not responding. I have tried the default indented button on the back and it resets it but at the stylus alignment screen it doesn't respond to any touch on the screen even if I hold a keyboard button down. It does the same with new batteries. How can I fix it?
