Scanner Not Working

Hi my Canon imageCLASS MF216n is not sc anning .printer is working but when I want to scan I get message connect to computer.Please help

I understand an error occurs when you attempt to scan with your imageCLASS MF216n. To ensure we are on the same page, and resolve your issue with scanning, I suggest you uninstall the current drivers then download and install the Windows 10 drivers and Patch for Network Scan, USB Scan from our web site using the steps at this LINK.

Why won't my Canon printer scan to my computer?

You may need to update your printer/scanner driver. Connectivity is a possible issue - make sure any cables are secure, such as a USB connection. ... Your device driver for the Canon scanner may be outdated - or missing. Device drivers can become corrupted, which may cause your scanner to not work properly.

How do I get my Canon printer to scan to my computer?

Make sure your printer is turned on, then press the SCAN button. Choose the connected computer where your scanned images will be saved. arrow buttons to select PC. Press OK.

A missing or outdated scanner driver can cause your HP scanner not to work, so you should update your scanner driver up to date. ... Manually update scanner driver - You can go to the website of your scanner manufacturer, find the latest driver for your scanner, and install it in your computer.
