Auto Selection Vs Manual
Why does it offer both? I am interested in a camera that offers a low price for decent quality of wide phoos. Basically for wide photos for work reasons but also is my family camera for snapshots at games and family events. At this time I can't afford an expensive camera.

This is a basic point-n-shot digital camera. It has features for those who perfer all automated operation or those who want control over the settings.
From the user manual:
Selecting a Shooting Mode
The camera features the following shooting modes.
- Auto Mode: Most settings are automatically selected by the camera.
- Manual Mode: The image quality, exposure, white balance and other settings are manually selected by the user.
- Black & White Mode Images are shot in black and white.
- Stitch Assist Mode Images are shot in overlapping series to create single panoramic images.
