Can't Use Full Range Of Iso Settings

No matter what shooting mode I'm in, I can't set the ISO speed to less than 160, or higher than 1600. All other options are 'greyed out' on the screen. What do I need to do to use the full range of ISO settings. I can't believe I can't shoot at ISO 100.
