How To Scan From Computer

i am using a canon color image class mf8380cdw and i cant not scan from my computer but i can scan printer control panal.

If you can print, then you probably just need to go the the printer, push the menu button, and select scanner and then "Remote Scanner". Then you can use the scanner software in Canon MF ToolBox. Unfortunantly due to bad software in the printer, you will have to do this EVERYTIME you want to scan something from your PC. The "Remote Scanner" selection times out shortly and won't stay selected.
