Bobbin... Not Working?

I have changed out the bobbin, new needle, rethreaded the top (all of that over and over) and continue to have the same problem -- it will stitch a few stitches then say check or rethread upper thread, even though that is not the problem.  It is knotting the upper thread underneath and after further investigating, I do not think the bobbin thread is doing anything.  I've cleaned the race, pulled out the bobbin case, and double checked that everything is clean with no traces of broken thread or needles.  This should not be happening, as far as I know.  I need help!!

Did you check the hole on the bobbin plate to ensure that a burr hasnt been  developed by needles breaking or for other reasons. Occasionally a burr developes and you can go nuts before discovering it. check with some wooly thread and if you discover a burr use some rat tail sander in the hole to smooth out the roughness and or go buy another plate. If it isnt that it is probably the mother board. :/
