When I Scan Using The Adf, A Long Strip Appears In The Pdf.

The strip is 1-2mm wide and covers the text or images. I always end up having to use the scan the pages individually on the glass plate - very annoying for multi-page document scanning! The strip seems to be caused by a problem in the rollers guiding the page through the ADF. Cleaning the roller may solve the problem, but it is not accessible. Any suggestions?

Hi, when you lift up the feeder, there should be the large glass plate, and then a small strip of glass next to that. The small strip of glass is what's causing your streak. There may be Wite-Out or some dirt on it. Clean this glass strip, either with a dry rag or a rag and alcohol, and that should solve your problem.
