Client Has A Mfc-9840cdw Answering Too Soon.

It's set to answre on the 4th ring, but answers immediately. This using is a secondary device, the primary being a fax server which captures the fax to an email. We have power cycled the MFC-9840CDW and verified the ring setting. Is there anything else we can do?
