Ink Cartridge

put in new cartidge. tells me to pull it out and put back in slowly. did that 8 times. still get same msg. Printer is almost new. Have replaced cartridges before, in fact i also replaced the yellow one & it was fine. Then did the magenta & now keep getting this msg. i have work that's got to be done! help!
