How To Correct Error Message: Init Unable Af?

I've already purge reset to 0. Message did say Init Unable 4F but states AF instead, are they interchangeable? Either way message still comes up when turned on. Are there any solutions available? Can I reset to factory settings, if so, how? Please help this printer has not been used much at all.
