Setting The Timing On An Ls-1717
The top thread on my Brother LS-1717 will not pick up the bobbin thread. I have cleaned and oiled the machine with no luck. In watching the bobbin and race, the top thread never gets over far enough to pick up the bobbin thread. Can this be adjusted? If by chance the bobbin thread is picked up, the threads break after 3 stitches. I have followed the manual for correct threading. The weight of the thread is the same in the top and bottom.
