How To Reset Drum Life Counter?
I just got my laptop back from the shop. Since then, I have not been able to get my HL-4570CDW to print. I only get error messages. Since I'd gotten warning messages that I'd soon need to replace the drum unit, I had a new on hand. After trying everything else I could think of, out of desperation I changed the drum unit. However, following the instructions with the new drum unit, I could not get the drum life counter to reset. It still shows 8%. Obviously, the drum is not spent, but the new drum is in the unit, it won't reset, and it still won't print.

Go to page 104 for drum life reset procedure, it's also supposed to be on the new drum packaging.
