Changing Fuser Assembly

I need better directions than what came with the part. It looks like the toner filter frame assembly is different than the one on my printer. I ordered and received fuser assembly # LU4103001 which Brother says is the correct part number. How do I get the toner filter frame assembly out? The directions say just to pull it out, but there are screws on my old assembly. Pleaese help me! Thanks! Muriel Kuri

I wrote an article for the 9840 which is the same as the 4040. No screws are involved with the filter removal just the fuser.
