Broiler Burner Function

The broiler burner on the top of the oven lights, but the flame is just tiny blue points of light along both sides.  It does not appear to be able to cook anything.  Selecting Broil Hi or Lo has no affect on the burner gas.  Is there something that can be adjusted or is this a service call?

You will need an appliance tech to trouble shoot is but it is most likely a secondary pilot light problem or the orifice may have soot on it . It also could be a bad valve witch is the knob you turn the broiler on with as this controls the gas flow to the burner.
