Head Won't Spin!! Black And Decker Gh3000
Hi! Yesterday I was weed whacking and all of the sudden the head would not spin. It felt like maybe line had wrapped around under the head. I haven't been able to check because I'm not sure how to take the head off. So can anyone please tell me reasons why the head would just stop spinning? Can you also tell me how to take the head off? I also need to know how to take the guard off please!!?? I am pretty new to all this!! Any help would be so very appreciated!! Thank you!! Lori

Dismantling will be in the manual as assembly instructions. Just reverse.
Normally you remove the string-wire head and that will expose the fixing for the actual head. If the unit has been subjected to excessive use then there could be an issue with the gears that drive the head. From experience these units are made of nylon/plastic material and do not allow overuse. I have found them with missing teeth or no teeth at all. If that's the case then a new head assembly will be needed. (worst case scenario) Parts can be obtained from www.Blackanddecker.com.
