Spool Feeds All The Line Out.
Eating through line. The line feeds continuously, it's gone in nearly 10 feet of work. the cutter is cutting little bits. when I stop there is a 3 foot section extended.

Referring to page 7 and 11. The image on page 7 shows how to wind the cord. The normal amount is around 8 metres in length to allow the cord to unwind. It must be wound in the correct direction. The cord must be 2mm. Too large or too small will cause problems. There may be an arrow on the spool to identify the direction.

Why is my Black and Decker trimmer using too much line?Your Black and Decker trimmer feeds too much line because there's a malfunction with the auto-feed lever. The auto-feed lever regulates the amount of line that feeds out. As a result, the auto-feed lever gets a lot of use and can wear out over time, leaving too much line coming out.
