Check to see if your computer meets the system requirements because the game needs a lot of memory and a fast processor to run properly, if you fail to meet any of them the game will not function properly.
System Requirements:
OS: WinXP/Vista/Win7/Win8
CPU: 2.5 GHz
RAM: 1024 MB
DirectX: 9.0
Hard Drive: 129 MB
If you meet the specs, then I suggest you try adjusting your graphics card settings as this can often help. Failing that you may need to update your graphics card drivers.
