Free Game

I purchased a game cd from the store and it came with a free game to download, but when I try and redeem it, I have to give my credit card info. Why when it's a free game? I just want to download my free game, I don't want to become a member as I purchase the cds if I want the game. Please help.

If it's a free game that requires a credit card, then it is a free trial. I would recommend trying to the game somewhere else.
