Decorative Stitch Will Not Turn Off
M decorative stitch will not revert to the standard straight stitch. It shows the straight stitch icon but still stitches the decorative stitch. I've closed the machine up for several hours and still no resolution. Please help.

It's always very helpful in these cases to know the full model number of the machine in question. I will assume this is an electronic controlled machine. Either way it appears something internal is defective and it is unlikely that you will be able to fix it yourself. I recommend having a qualified serviceman look it over. Don't try to open the machine yourself, you can cause further damage without knowing it.
