Bernina 330 Sewing Machine Issue

I have only used this machine probably 2-3 dozen times and purchased brand new in 2011. Machine now only sees approx 6 inches and powering on and off. When I flip the power button, it will sew maybe 6 more inches then starts powering on and off again. Thanks for your help please
