8-pin Eatx12v1
How do I connect the 8-pin EATX12V1 for CPUs 95W or less? I cannot get the board to boot and I believe it to be an issue with the 8-pin EATX12V1 or the 8-pin EATX12V2. I am not sure I understand the difference between the two 8-pin connectors, The manual states that one is for CPU's with 95W or less and the other is for CPUs with 115W or greater.

no because the Current ratings are different for the cpu and the pcie connectors even thought the voltages are the same which is why they are keyed differently.
the pinout is also reversed, if you were to put an EPS12v connector into a pcie slot or a pcie connector into the EPS12V slot you would short 12v to the ground.
