Hello I Bougt Asus Rt-ac51u

Hello, I can't setup my vpn client on asus RT-AC51u ,The problem is i created my own vpn server from rented ubuntu serwer, it works fine with all pc and phones, when i want to use this .ovpn file with RT-AC51u router , it simple doesn't accept it; I even gave all certificate and .ovpn configuration manually in different files but still it doesn't work. When i googled about that in some forms they say that this route has it's own policy for accepting .ovpn file, but i coudn't figured out which?i coudn't upgrade ovpn app too, do you have any suggestions to this problem?
