How Shall I Plug My Asus Gtx680 Dcu2 To My Corsair Hx1050 Watts Powersupply?

i need to know if i have to use 2 x 4 pin peripheral molex to plug in my gpu to my PSU corsair HX 1050 watts or simply use the 6 pin pci express cable? at the moment i play with 1 x 8 pin pci express cable and 1 x 6 pin pci express cable but i have poor performance in games. Would you advise me to check with the 4 pin peripheral molex? Thank you

6 pin PCIe power required according to the specs.

Plugging in the incorrect power cable wouldn't cause bad performance. It just wouldn't work at all.
