my acer travelmate 2350 has windows xp can i run my software windows 7 on it

The Acer site only shows drivers for XP, but in my experience , if it has enough power(cpu) and ram, Windows 7 is very good with its own drivers. Otherwise you will need to use a driver finder site (They are not all as good as they should be though) You can run your laptop with 2gb ram , so that is enough. The standard 30gb hard drive would be too small- ok if you have an 80gb upwards, I would say.
Intel has a tool to detect the chipset and video, (those are the most important) so you might be ok for drivers for those from

You may find that a bios update will help.
