The Sound On My Realtek Hd Audio Driver Is Mute But Mute Not Activated.? No Soun

I have no sound on my speakers but sound not muted. Checks reveal nothing wrong with realtek drivers/system. Can download from say youtube videos and share downloadson other computers and sound not compromised. Have scaned for malware/viruses but nothing located. Feel that some small thing I have missed to sorrect problem but cannot put a finger on the problem at this stage. Suggestions please.

Hi - If the driver used to work normal then try System Restore - Go to Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore > Now you will have to look you yeasterday's date on the calender that your see on the screen > select it when found > Click next, confirm and initiate the System Restore > and leave the computer alone as soon as you are sure it is initiated - the Restore Shoult take less than 10 minutes (during which time it should probably restart it self) - After completion your compromised driver should be restored.

Please do resubmit if this does not sort the issue out
