Power Light Flashes 5 Times, And The Computer Will Not Turn On.
I bought my wife and Acer Aspire V3-551G-8454 for Christmas. Today, the computer stopped turning on. When we go to power it on, the power button just blinks at us 5 times. Normally I am very saavy with computers, but this problem is messing with my head. We've tried, unplugging the AC power, Replugging it back in. Battery out, battery back in, battery out hold down teh power fo 30 seconds, battery back in holding power for 30 seconds, AC in without the batter... I can keep going on and on with all the attemps to fix. Please help!

it seem you have Bios error this bad things some times happen to acer, you can try this one
1. Press FN + esc at the same time while you powering the computer when you hear the fan working just wait it for about five minute your bios is resetting to factory setting.
2. if the above solution cannot give you solution mean you should download the Bios file from acer web and put it in the flash drive then when you done put it in the flash drive, plug it on your acer then do it again the above step to copy new Bios to your laptop."beware to choose a proper bios or your Bios chip will broken".
