My Network Adapter Driver Has Been Stoped By Windows 7 And I Have No Internet

my network adapter for WAN Miniport PPPOE has been stoped by windows and will not run, as a result i have no internet hook up and i need help....please soneone tell me what to do....it is an error code 48
