What GPU is recommended for the Acer M3970 for gaming, and how can I upgrade it?

You should upgrade the power supply to at least 600w. Most really good graphics cards need at least this amount of power if not more, to run properly.(Check the recommended power supply of the card you want, first). The graphics card is really your choice, and depending on how much you can spend. I personally recommend Radeon HD cards, 6000 series and above. Since there is only one port for additional PCI-E on our acer. I also recommend getting a card with 2GB+ of memory. You should be MUCH happier with general performance. and of course GAMING!
