Bluetooth On An Acer Aspire E1-521 Laptop

I'm trying to connect my iphone to my acer laptop by Bluetooth. I have my iphone in discovery mode and I click on add device on the laptop and it searches for devices but it can't find the iphone.

Greetings - Try doing it the other way round - While the iPhone's bluetooth is turned off, set your laptop's bluetooth on discoverable mode > now move the iPhone's bluetooth slider to on > Check if you do not see your laptop on menu now - select it if you do. However if you dont you might want to review your laptop bluetooth settings. I assume you are using a USB bluetooth dongle on your laptop as your (laptop) model does not come with a built-in bluetooth interface. This USB bluetooth adapters can be purchased from you local computer. Hope this helps.
